Join us and you’ll have the chance to both lead projects and support the business growth analysis for West Coast Life Sciences team. The individual will be part of West Coast Life Sciences group to deliver lean projects to clients in the western region. You’ll have the chance to work on this team providing solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting, business financial reporting and analysis, and subcontractor invoicing.Performing client management / interfacing / updates / presentations at all levels of management, Project Cost Controls partners with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation / opportunities. Jacobs utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence. Specifically, you’ll perform cost controls to include, managing the overall program cost controls and reporting function, interfacing with other project team members, including Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Office planning, IT, Accounting, Economics and Finance, Tax, Contracts and Legal, to facilitate compliance with execution strategy and objectives with cost efficiency. In addition to support projects and programs for both internal and external clients, you’ll have the opportunity to support business level finances, taking a lead role on business planning, forecasting, revenue recognition, supporting proposals for new work, tracking and evaluating key financial indicators regarding revenue, margin. You will collaborate with Life Sciences project controls community to implement best practices for the group.Bring your creativity, ambitious spirit and extreme attention to detail, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together. • At least 10+ years of project cost controls experience on life sciences projects• Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues. Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management and cost analysis• Experience in project controls, life sciences operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issuesIdeally, here’s what you’ll also have:• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree• Understanding of operational business processes in the Engineering and Construction industry• Experience / Leadership in business or company level financial management• Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development, desirable• IT experience or aptitude preferred• Expertise/ knowledge of: Earned Value Progress Measurement. Project Coordination / Risk Management. Construction Management / Project Management. Construction Project Controls. Value Engineering. Schedule Analysis and Forecasting.
