Our non-profit firm is seeking one full-time JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) Career Specialist to help those we serve achieve their dreams. The home office is located in Sun Prairie, WI.

JAG Career Specialists identify, recruit and instruct students to help them gain necessary skills to attain graduation with a successful transition from school to career with advancement opportunities. Full job description details attached to posting.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE

Develop and facilitate job and career reediness curriculum
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of the students
Advocate for the JAG program with community employers, parents, civic groups and legislators
Provide guidance, counseling and support
Assist students in finding and maintaining employment
Document and report to track student success

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree, experience working with high school students and one (1) plus years work-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Prairie Phoenix Academy location does not require a valid Wisconsin Teaching License. Must also pass criminal background check.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

FSC offers a very competitive wage for this full-time, exempt position with a minimum starting rate of $50,087.10/year with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements.

Example: Meet only minimum requirements start at $50,087.10; with 3 additional years of direct experience start at $51,600.98; 5 additional years of direct experience $56,160.62, etc.
