Partnership Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Partnership Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of partnership accounting, strong analytical skills, and great leadership qualities.

Skills

15+ years of experience in public accounting or finance
Solid understanding of US GAAP and partner allocations
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with partnership structuring and knowledge of tax and legal impacts
Organized, communicative, and able to build relationships within the company

Responsibilities

Manage team members and review their journal entries and reconciliations
Develop, train, and mentor the current team using expertise in partnership accounting
Oversee preparation of member draws, distributions, and partner-related activity accounting
Review monthly charges to specific member general ledger accounts, including tax withholdings
Standardize processes, automate income and capital allocations, and drive process improvements

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field
