Position overview:

Provide ordering and delivery service to JIT customer’s production lines, provide maintenance support on hardware items used for ordering and interact with customer Purchasing associates.

Main responsibilities:
  • Review customer bins on production lines for required inventory.
  • Place orders using handheld scanners, CMI systems, scale hardware, RFID and ordering software.
  • Assist the warehouse in preparing orders for specific customers or specific customer needs.
  • Deliver products to production lines.
  • Add/remove bins and products from customer production lines.
  • Provide housekeeping services to customer production lines.
  • Obtain Purchase Orders where applicable.
  • Create or modify customer required reports or ASN.
  • Replace scanning labels as needed.
  • Report information back to assigned Sales Reps and/or program Managers.
  • Adhere to both CBN and customer Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
  • Run and review and modify open customer order report.
  • Consult with customer line supervisors and purchasing dept.s
  • Report and resolve supply issues with Purchasing.
  • Participate in quarterly MBR sessions with CBN and customer reps.
  • Communicate quality issues with Optimas engineering and Quality Depts.
  • Obtain information and or samples from customer for quoting or engineer change purposes.

  • Experience with VMI,JIT, RFID. CMI systems
