The Senior Planner is responsible for the planning for the Antenna line in Downtown Syracuse facility as well as NPI builds in the Liverpool facility. Responsible for reviewing and updating promise dates on all Antenna bookings based on manufacturing build plan and vendor delivery plan. Manage Finished Goods inventory by aligning build plan with monthly forecast. Assist in implementing GIB Planning function for Antenna. Accurately maintain system data. Develop and maintain relationships with production team and other functional areas. 



You will:
  • Plan production facilities in support of customer requirements using MRP output
  • Work with the Purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of quality material to the manufacturing operation; includes analyzing inventory coverage for build plans and addressing shortages
  • Work closely with customer service and operations to provide accurate, reliable ATP information (lead-times for quotes, new orders and expedite requests)
  • Collaborate with production to ensure clear and consistent communication of priorities and requirements
  • Responsible for new item set up management in SAP (MRP Views)
  • Schedule rework orders for non-conforming or obsolete material
  • Support New Product Development to minimize project cost, maintain schedule and performance goals in a Project “Gated” environment
  • Identify and execute opportunities for cost improvement, efficiency, risk mitigation and overall company performance
  • Participate in cross functional team meetings as assigned


You have:
  • 3+ years of experience in production scheduling for a manufacturing organization in an MRP environment preferred
  • Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Supply Chain preferred)
  • Knowledge of typical scheduling practices and procedures
  • Knowledge in cost analytics, PPAP/Component Capability and Design for Manufacturability techniques is preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills and speed; SAP experience
  • High degree of initiative and attention to detail in a diverse and highly multi-task environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent follow up and high attention to detail
  • Travel up to 15% required


$65,000 - $75,000 a year
The US national annual base salary for this role is $65,000-$75,000. The range includes the base salary that is expected to be paid for this role. Actual base salary will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the of scope and complexity of the role, the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, peer and market data and geographic location.
