For one of our clients, we are looking for a Director of Solutions Engineering, remotely from the United States.

As a Director of Solutions Engineering, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the success of a cutting-edge SaaS security platform. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers, ensuring technical excellence throughout the sales process. Your focus will be on recruiting, mentoring, and guiding your team while also contributing directly to key sales cycles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on both the technical and strategic growth of the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the US-based Solutions Engineering team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and high-quality deliverables.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier Solutions Engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Oversee the execution of sales cycles, contributing to key opportunities and ensuring technical success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve the technical engagement process and sales support materials.
  • Drive best practices within the team and ensure the adoption of the latest industry trends and positioning.
  • Act as a liaison between prospects, customers, and product management, advocating for customer needs and product enhancements.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business/technical education.
  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or a technical leadership role, preferably in a distributed environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in security pre-sales or SE management roles.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS/cloud security, API-based security solutions, and SaaS expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to creatively solve problems and navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
