This position offers an opportunity to work in a challenging environment where you will use your expertise in maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our medical devices. You will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our healthcare professionals can provide the best possible care to our patients. This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 5+ years of experience in the field.Responsibilities• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment to ensure they are operating at optimal levels.• Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning biomedical equipment, including electromedical devices.• Assisting in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, ensuring its compatibility with existing systems and its adherence to safety standards.• Providing technical advice and training to healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.• Collaborating with clinical engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues and improve equipment performance.• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance issues.• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to biomedical equipment.Qualifications• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician or in a related role.• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of medical equipment, including electromedical devices.• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and clinical engineering principles.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards related to biomedical equipment.• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide technical advice and training to non-technical personnel.• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.• A degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field is preferred.Interested in hearing more?
