This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee all financial operations, provide strategic direction and leadership in financial matters, and ensure the financial integrity of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, financial management, general ledger, inventory, month-end close, KPI's, and process improvement.Responsibilities• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.• Support month-end and year-end close process.• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.• Additional duties as necessary.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).• Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA).• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience with a focus on process improvement.• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in the CPG (consumer-packaged goods)• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.• Experience with creating financial statements.• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.• Ability to direct and supervise.The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind, excellent leadership skills, and a strong business acumen. They should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial managers. This role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Interested in hearing more?
