Read about it here !About The RoleAs a Senior Financial Analyst at G2, you will serve as the strategic finance partner for specific areas of the business, responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. This means building a relationship and deeply aligning with departmental executive leadership to partner on the development and execution of focused growth strategies. You will be expected to constructively challenge your business partners to continuously optimize the use of company capital/ assets to maximize progress toward company goals. While some responsibilities will be focused in this way, you will also serve as a steward of G2, helping prepare regular reporting, investor presentation materials, and company-wide financial modeling. To be successful in this role, you will require a mix of financial and operational competencies, and the ability to pay attention to details while also grasping the big picture of the company as a whole. You will also need strong communication skills, both written and verbal to position and implement your ideas within the business effectively.In This Role, You WillServe as a dedicated business partner to executive management and department heads in developing, owning, managing, and measuring business cases, key performance indicators, and financial modelsTake a leading role in the detailed development and deployment of departmental budgets, as well as long-range strategic, financial, and cash flow plans/forecastsAnalyze operating and financial results to spot trends and opportunities and develop alternatives for improvement and action, with an emphasis on providing specific answers to the “why?”Partner across departments to perform financial and statistical analysis of key operational, sales and marketing, and financial initiatives; assess financial returns; and make recommendations accordinglyParticipate in ad hoc data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership and Board of DirectorsMinimum QualificationsWe realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.3-4 years experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, PE / VC, or relevant fieldPrior work experience in high growth technology or SaaS organization preferredExperience in software and recurring revenue models preferredComfortable working with and analyzing financial statements and relevant financial metricsAbility to work in large datasets without losing sight of the “big picture”Excellent oral and written communication skills.
