We have recently received an initial round of funding and due to growth, we are looking to bring aboard a Remote Sr. JavaScript Engineer to join our team. You will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for delivering world-class, cloud-based software solutions. As a Sr. JavaScript Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing features for our SaaS product, utilizing your experience in JavaScript, Node, and AWS. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a team of talented developers, and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch technology solutions.Why join us?We are a company that values our employees and if hired we offer the following$130k - $155k baseRemote flexibilityMedical, dental, and vision coverage heavily subsidized by the companyPaid Time OffPaid family and medical leaveJob DetailsResponsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software using JavaScript, Node, and AWS.• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement APIs.• Work closely with other team members to understand and implement functional requirements and user stories.• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.• Create and maintain technical documentation.• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software to ensure optimal performance and quality.• Keep abreast of latest technology trends and advancements to stay competitive.• Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on JavaScript.• Proficiency in frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.• Strong experience with Node.js and AWS.• Experience designing and developing APIs.• Previous experience in a startup environment and SaaS product development is highly desirable.• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle.• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.Interested in hearing more?
