This role requires a Secret Security Clearance & is perfect for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys working on a variety of projects and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Why join us?• Competitive Base Salary• 100% company paid health plan (for employee-only)• 401k matching with immediate vesting• Very generous PTO• Dental and Vision, FSA, HSA• Small team, autonomy• Many more great perks!Job DetailsResponsibilities• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Python and Django framework.• Lead the development and deployment of new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.• Utilize CI/CD for rapid application development and deployment.• Work with React to create user-friendly web pages and components.• Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for effective resource isolation and scaling of applications.• Develop and maintain microservices architecture for various applications.• Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade existing software, and identify areas for modification and improvement.• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership to the team.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and at minimum a Secret Security Clearance!• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.• Proficiency in Python programming and Django framework.• Solid experience with CI/CD, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices.• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical team members.• Knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity.• Proven ability to manage a flexible schedule.• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.• Constantly update personal technical and business knowledge and skills and mentor others to increase the effectiveness of the team.• Proven experience as a team leader with a dedication to delivering projects on time and within budget.• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus despite conflicting demands.• Drive to keep up with latest technology trends and innovations.Interested in hearing more?
