This is a permanent role that offers a great opportunity to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services that will increase our firm's reputation.Responsibilities• Manage and coordinate tax audits.• Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.• Supervise and lead a team of junior tax consultants.• Identify tax savings in prospective acquisition scenarios.• Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.• Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections and the project budgets.• Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a public accounting firm.• Proficient in corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.• Experience with S-Corp and C-Corp taxation.• In-depth knowledge of income tax, compliance, passthrough, and audit.• Strong experience with federal tax planning, compliance, and preparation.• Excellent leadership and team management skills.• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.Interested in hearing more?
