We are located in Wellesley, MA right near the Charles River.We have completed many notable projects including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Yawkey Center for Cancer Care, Logan International Airport Terminal B expansion, and Education First headquarters in Cambridge. In addition to our building design services, we also specialize in the planning and design of all types of parking solutions including automated parking facilities, free-standing parking structures, and underground parking garages.Why join us?Work Remotely• Yes, open to a hybrid solution for the right candidate (some days in the office some days at home)Benefits• Health insurance• Paid time off• 401K with matchingJob DetailsA versatile structural engineer, with experience in steel and concrete building design, construction document preparation, construction administration, and project management skills. Must have the ability to prepare design concepts quickly and efficiently, and then work with our CAD/Revit team to translate those designs into drawings that can be easily built. Should be highly creative and able to develop and delegate work to CAD/Revit Technicians. AutoCAD and Revit drawing experience to assist team when needed is a plus.Responsibilities include• Work closely with the design team and construction teams to develop the appropriate structural solutions.• Develop designs, calculations, and structural models using a combination of hand calculations, in-house spreadsheets, and structural analysis software (RAM Structural System and RAM Elements currently used in our office).• Prepare structural reports, special studies, and construction drawings for different project types including new construction, and enhancements to existing buildings.• Engage in the entire project process from start to finish, including developing proposals to closing out the project.• Perform periodic site visits during construction and prepare written field reports.Software and Computer Skills• Minimum Must have a good grasp with the Microsoft office products, and experience with structural analysis software (experience with RAM Structural Systems and Ram Elements preferred.)• Ideally Proficient with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.Interested in hearing more?
