The Permanent Systems Engineer will work closely with other departments to ensure that our systems are efficient, effective, and secure. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and to contribute significantly to our company's success.Why join us?• 401k• health benefits 75% covered• 2 days remote/3 days on site• MSP environment with new projectsJob DetailsResponsibilities• Design, implement, and maintain secure systems that support the company's operations.• Work closely with other departments to ensure that systems meet their needs and are integrated effectively.• Conduct regular security audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security of our systems.• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the area of systems engineering.• Keep abreast of the latest developments in systems engineering and security, and recommend changes and improvements as necessary.• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.• Train staff on system use and security protocols.• Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures.• Document all system design and maintenance activities.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a specific emphasis on security.• Demonstrated expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems.• Strong knowledge of current trends and developments in systems engineering and security.• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.• Professional certification in Systems Engineering or Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Interested in hearing more?
