Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities for Johns Hopkins Medicine. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry leaders. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and proposals to meet client needs. Lead the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and negotiating contracts. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitors. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase revenue. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting performance goals and conducting regular performance evaluations. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development strategies. Represent Johns Hopkins Medicine at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the organization and identify potential partnerships. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and implement effective sales and promotional materials. Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions and strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all business development and sales activities. Continuously assess and improve sales processes and strategies to drive business growth and success.
