We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences in the heart of Australia's breathtaking landscapes? Outback Spirit is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Camp and Lodge Attendants across various locations in stunning rural Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

As a Lodge/Camp Attendant, you will be the face of Outback Spirit, representing our values in a professional and passionate manner. This multi-skilled role involves providing outstanding customer service to our guests and serving as their main point of contact throughout their stay.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working a variety of roles within the operation
  • Delivering high-quality food and beverage service
  • Assisting with housekeeping and general upkeep of the property
  • Engaging with guests and ensuring all of their needs are met
  • Complying with workplace health and safety policies

This is a remote position, requiring you to live and work at one of our properties for the entirety of the season. We provide all meals and accommodation. Please be mindful of the limitations associated with residing in a remote location for an extended period of time.

ABOUT YOU:

You will be a multi-skilled professional with demonstrated experience in hospitality. You have exceptional verbal communication skills and a friendly disposition with a teamwork attitude.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
  • Valid Medium or Heavy Rigid Driver's Licence (desirable)
  • WA/QLD/NT Relevant Driver's Accreditation
  • Remote First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (mandatory)
  • Food Handling Certificate (mandatory)

For specific dual positions you will also:

  • Have proven experience as a cook or kitchen
  • Have proven experience as a groundskeeper/maintenance person

A National Criminal History Check is a mandatory step in the recruitment process.
