This role sits within the “Tech, Data, and Risk” teams. The drivers behind our platform – brilliant people working together to create, code, and build the next game changers.

What will you be doing?

As a Junior IT Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for end-users seeking assistance with troubleshooting their hardware, software, and access issues. You’ll work closely with a local team and global team members to provide excellent customer service, detailed issue logging, and efficient issue handover and resolution. To round out your knowledge, you’ll participate in ongoing training and company-paid certification based on your career desires.

  • Monitor our Helpdesk channels on Slack and ensure all reported issues are logged in Jira, then triage common break-fixes and access issues while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team or team member.
  • Maintain operational use of our in-office Zoom Rooms and assist with regional meeting setup and testing.
  • Contribute to ongoing device lifecycle management and assist with asset management from procurement through our vendors to end-of-life decommissioning.
  • Assist with the refinement of our processes, providing input where possible, and ensuring end-users are properly adhering to policies as designed by IT and InfoSec.
  • Develop your foundational IT skills using company-paid training and certifications, and team knowledge.

Are you?

  • Personable and approachable, ensuring people feel heard and are valued.
  • Detailed and solution-oriented, providing notes to complex tasks and resolutions while setting priorities and following through.
  • Self-sufficient, being able to take the initiative to seek answers out individually but comfortable with asking for help when needed.
  • Collaborative, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to group discussions and projects.
  • Experienced with IT ticketing systems and able to adhere to Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and perform basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Preferred experience with administering Jira Service Desk or other ticketing systems, Microsoft Active Directory and/or Intune, Google Workspaces Administration or similar mail server administration services and Zoom or similar video conferencing technology.
