Jr. Supply Chain Engineer

This role does require travel to the customer's plants in California, Texas and Kentucky roughly 30% of the time.

What you will be doing:

• Handle warehouse inbound and outbound order processing in system
• Create and maintain manual reports for daily record keeping and business review
• Collect POD from carriers and file in appropriate location
• Support team with facilitating warehousing and logistics operations in North/South America
• Coach and supervise logistics partners and audit daily operation, maintenance, and KPI to ensure safety and standardization
• Support onboarding process for warehouse/logistics/recycling partners, including RFQ, contract negotiation, etc.
• Facilitate international shipping, custom clearance, local delivery and coordinate among internal and external parties
• Arrange defective parts collection from project sites
• Contribute improvement projects in terms of EHS, productivity, quality, and customer service and cooperate with various functional teams
• Conduct training on battery storage & handling practice to external logistics partners
• Travel for physical inventory count quarterly and regular warehouse visits
• Other administrate support upon request of the team

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor degree with major in supply chain, logistics, or engineering discipline or other STEM majors
• More than 1-year work experience in warehousing, logistics, or industrial/auto spare parts preferred
• Proficiency in Chinese and English required
• Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate teams in other region
• Willing to travel frequently in North American region
• Advanced in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SAP ERP and WMS

The preferred skills

• Hazmat experience and knowledge in supply chain is a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
