About the role:
The Vice President of Product Management will be responsible for leading the product management team and overseeing the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle of our different products. This role requires a visionary leader with deep industry knowledge, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of bringing successful products to market. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate an ever changing environment, ability to adapt, leadership skills to grow and develop talent, have a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Identify market opportunities, define product roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and customer needs.
- Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that product development is guided by user feedback and market trends.
- Product Development:
- Have the ability to think about the overall JC product, and develop a roadmap on how we might grow the platform and the business.
- Implement best practices in agile development, ensuring efficient and high-quality product releases.
- Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development for team members.
- Promote a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Use insights to inform product strategy and positioning.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related matters, both internally and externally.
- Present product plans, progress, and performance metrics to the executive team.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Preferred Qualifications:- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- General understanding of security and IT admin customer personas.
- Strong execution - Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex software products.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Strong customer focus and a passion for creating great user experiences.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $325,000-$440,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.
