The Integrated Warfare Systems Group's (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors and Lasers (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, decoy and directed energy programs.
Responsibilities:We are seeking a dedicated junior Systems Engineer to provide support to the Lead Systems Engineer for the Shipboard Panoramic Electro-Optic and Infrared (SPEIR) Program within the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), Above Water Sensors and Lasers (IWS 2.0) programs. We expect to fill this position immediately!
You will provide technical and programmatic support to the Systems Engineering Working Group Leads (e.g. Platform and Combat System Integration, Hardware and Manufacturing, Software, Requirements, Performance). You will provide technical rigor in support of Systems Engineering (SE) processes, including planning, execution and closure of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), technical writing, requirements management, risk management, configuration management, and technical artifact reviews. You will join a high performing team and be expected to develop a strong understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering and DoD, Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command and PEO IWS instructions and processes (e.g., DoD 5000).

A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work on-site in DC.
