Position Overview

Fiducial is looking for a Junior Tax Preparer for their Miami, FL office to support the Tax Managers.

The Junior Tax Preparer will work in a team environment and will be primarily responsible for preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns as well as assisting in providing tax compliance, reporting, and researching. Knowledge of FBAR, 5471, and 8865 a plus.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review financial statements and client documentation in order to prepare tax returns and associated forms and schedules
• Inform clients of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax forms accurately
• Upload client data and information in tax software
• Prepare all related tax forms in accordance with policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations
• Follow up with software providers as necessary
• Perform basic research, such as reading instructions for tax returns
• Assist with tax audits by gathering data requested by tax authorities
• Assist in following up with notices from tax authorities

Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes

• 1+ years of experience in a CPA firm preferred.
• 1+ year of experience with tax preparation or 2 seasons of experience required.
• Must be computer savvy, CCH Axcess experience a plus.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $36.29 per hour
