Digital transformation is everywhere, with technologies such as Multi-Cloud, Cybersecurity, Automation, IoT, AI, Machine Learning, and 5G driving the next waves of innovation.What we will challenge you to achieve• Provide pre-sales technical consultation as a domain specialist (SME) for the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions.• Collaborate with sales teams, vendors, and industry partners in assessing potential application of our products ensuring that optimum systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers.• Develop and implement technical sales plans and proposals (RFP, RFQ) to grow Juniper's business in a driven and opportunity-filled sales environment.• Originate and architect detailed design, engineering, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.• Use your outstanding industry and product knowledge to engage and influence customer technology strategies through showcasing Juniper technologies during technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept, and trial engagements.• Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with customer IT decision-makers and industry partner community.• Deliver training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers.• Continuously learn and stay ahead of the industry and competitive solutions, products, and services.• Enjoy the personal growth career opportunity that comes from exposure to the latest technological innovations and apply these capabilities to address the real-world challenges of our customers.What you need to have• *******Candidate MUST be located in NJ or within driving distance and MUST have AT&T experience to be considered********• This role is for a Consulting level, Pre-Sales Engineer that will have broad SP knowledge and responsibility for a single top tier US Service Provider, AT&T, preferably based in the Middletown, NJ area.• The SE will partner with account managers and other SE team peers to find and build solutions for AT&T.• Broad knowledge of the SP business and technologies is a must. We are looking for a fast learner with capacity for many subjects. Deep knowledge of core routing, edge routing, access routing, backhaul routing, data center, virtualization, edge compute. With preference for Juniper product knowledge.• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and related field or equivalent experience.• Experience designing/engineering LAN/WAN, Campus, Data Center, Security, and Metro Ethernet solutions.• Experience implementing and operating mid-large-scale Campus and Enterprise Networking and Security solutions.• Knowledge of Juniper product line, key competitors, and vertical market use cases.• Confirmed understanding and hands-on expertise with networking industry technologies across routing, switching, and security technology domains.• Strong interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with experience in customer-facing sales activities.• Proven technical capability, ability to learn quickly, and apply skills in new protocols and applications.• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.• Builds a strong network of relationships that extend personal power and impact. Navigates access to expertise and experience to facilitate knowledge transfer and information sharing.• Develops strategic partnerships and creates collaborative interactions among partners that generate new ideas and solutions.• Clearly defines customer's business workflow and facilitates the development of system elements to support those processes; assists in preparation of responses to complex RFPs.• Sets the technical or solutions agenda with the customer.• Provides technical leadership for the broader SE community.• In-depth understanding of specific solutions or product requirements relevant to a large percentage of the Juniper customer base. The job holder works closely with customers, industry forums and PLM to scope and build these solutions.#LI-StephanietMinimum Salary: $181,632.00Maximum Salary:$261,096.00The pay range for this position is expected to be between $181,632.00 and $261,096.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations.
