Vice President, Client Services

What you are accountable for:

The VP, Client Service, is responsible for leading a portfolio of accounts, driving revenue growth, directing, and developing account teams, managing related financial and operational responsibilities, and ensuring optimal client service while creating a blueprint for other account portfolios. The four primary focuses of this position are

·      Guide assigned account teams to grow accounts proactively with sound, strategic account plans, working collaboratively with strategy, media, platforms, and creative teams.

·      Build strong relationships with clients.

·      Ensure our client service practice is consistently strong, producing case studies and templates for other account teams to use.

·      Be a leader for the Just Global team, offering strong guidance to direct reports and mentorship and support to others.

 The VP, Client Service is always proactive, understands market & customer trends, and reacts to grow business accordingly.  At all times, this role is expected to champion Just Global’s values, including ensuring promotion of diversity and inclusion across the business and the market.

What you are responsible for:

Customers:

·      Advocate for and engender customer loyalty to Just Global.

·      Direct senior client relationships on all assigned accounts, while driving global expansion of accounts in other regions.

·      Work with cross functional teams such as Strategic Solutions Group to build account plans to further client business strategy.

·      Grow revenue and drive increased profitability on assigned accounts for the agency: grow services, grow/manage scope, and control efficacy of team deployment.

·      Successfully introduce new services and projects to the client when appropriate to the business.

·      Work with global counterparts to grow and expand global business.

·      Work with the aim of having Just Global become AOR for media, creative and data globally for all assigned clients.

Commercial acumen:

·       Develop accurate revenue projections for clients based upon ongoing and planned projects, client timelines, and budgets.

·      Oversee the financial health of client projects, working with PMO to ensure campaigns are delivered with a healthy margin

·      Evaluate the profitability of each client by analyzing revenue against project costs and making recommendations for improved efficiency

·      Collaborate with the Growth and Finance teams to forecast new business opportunities to enable efficient scheduling of resources across departments and ultimately ensuring that these align with Just’s financial goals.

Marketplace:

·      Build a strong reputation for the agency brand as a B2B marketing innovator and pioneer using brand positioning and thought leadership

·      Participate in fostering and building relationships with senior agency partners

·      Build and foster strong relationships with key agency partners/vendors

·       Attend relevant conferences, participate in speaking opportunities, contribute to company / industry blog

Internal:

·      Participate in recruitment and development of direct team members (and others within agency as appropriate)

·      Ensure account teams are scoped appropriately to deliver best-in-class client service while optimizing margins of assigned portfolio.

·      Deliver on leadership opportunities for agency and client services organization.

·      Help generate and train best practices for Client Services engagement models and templates, from account plans to competitive analysis reports, to Quarterly Business Review sessions, and more.

·      Inspire and motivate account teams to effectively deliver and exceed goals.

·      Understand client’s business and industry and ensure account teams are also equipped to respond.

·      Manage quality-control and upgrade level and delivery of team/product.

·      Direct internal assigned account team operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria

·      Attract, retain, develop, and motivate account staff developing bench strength within the organization

·      Ensure best practices are adopted across assigned teams

·      Develop organizational processes to help with agency growth

·      Assist with planning and forecasting account budgets and revenue within the assigned portfolio

·      Work with agency leadership team to grow current client base pitching new and innovative opportunities

Experience

·      12+ years of client management / sales experience within agencies and/or digital B2B marketing environment.

·      Interest and experience in the technology sector

·      12+ years' track record of driving revenue growth for B2B technology clients: meeting or exceeding pipeline and revenue targets

·      12+ years’ experience working with creative studio environment, working with core insight, content and demand programs to serve B2B.

·      8+ years experience of managing and leading diverse teams .

Compensation Philosophy:

We use various market and data-driven salary sources to determine a salary range for each role. Your salary is based upon the skills and experience you bring along with the salary range established for your role. This will be discussed with you at the appropriate stage in the recruitment process.
