Electrical Engineering Manager

JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the Marine Technology industry, is actively seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to existing procedures and make necessary amendments to optimize our operations and improve the quality of our work.
  • Lead the Electrical Engineering team, mentor and be responsible for the technical competency and continuous development of the team members.
  • Use Agile management methodologies to organize, prioritize and plan work.
  • Collaborate with team managers to build effective project teams that will allow completing the work in rapid execution cycles and delivering tangible and meaningful results.
  • Ensure the quality of engineering deliverables by applying best engineering practices and adhere to international standards and norms.
  • Work alongside with internal and external stakeholders, provide technical knowledge and ensure success.
  • Capture, monitor and present Key Performance Indexes (KPI) to assess personnel and procedures' performance and compliance with company strategic targets.
  • Bachelor's or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering projects, product development, machinery manufacturing or similar, with at least 2 years of proven managerial experience. Previous experience in the maritime industry will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with Medium Voltage network requirements in industrial settings, with particular emphasis on system design, components and system implementation.
  • Technical understanding of processes, instrumentation, system architecture, PLC based automation, software and hardware architecture.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with Agile Project management methodologies.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Problem solving, self-motivated and results oriented with a strong can-do mentality.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in English.
