Senior Software Engineer, Fraud Prevention
Justworks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Fraud Prevention team. The ideal candidate is passionate about design and development, experienced in building large-scale applications, and ready to join a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.
Skills
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience in fraud detection and prevention
- Experience with clean, organized, and scalable code
- Tech lead experience
- Working with complicated systems at scale
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build solutions for fraud detection and prevention
- Design and implement APIs, systems integrations, data models, and backend services
- Promote engineering excellence through technical leadership and mentorship
- Ensure observability and monitoring best practices in all services
- Secure sensitive data appropriately
- Perform other related duties as assigned
