Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Kairos Power is a pioneering nuclear energy technology company dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions. They seek a motivated Instrumentation and Controls Engineer with mechatronics experience to join their team.

Skills

Mechatronics experience
Programming in IEC 61131
Understanding of feedback control system design
Knowledge of sensors and actuators
Proficiency in computer methods for data acquisition

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical controls programming using Allen Bradley PLC
Provide engineering design input for control systems
Collaborate with Engineering Teams to ensure system alignment
Assist in the selection and procurement of components
Perform debugging and root cause analysis for integration problems
Conduct testing to ensure functionality of the mechanical system

Education

B.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field
