About the Role:Kalepa is looking for an exceptional marketing intern for a high-impact, full-throttle internship at a fast-growing AI software company. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing - Chris D'Angelo '16 - and work closely with Kalepa's executive leadership team.This is not a coffee-fetching internship. We'll be counting on you to deliver real impact right away, and you will have the opportunity to touch many aspects of the company and our marketing operations.Kalepa's marketing team works closely with the broader commercial team (Sales, Customer success, RevOps) and on occasion with our technical team (product managers, software engineers) to tell Kalepa's story to our prospective clients. These are large accounts with Fortune 500 companies, so nailing our marketing efforts is critical.You will be working at the very heart of our marketing operations, meaning you will have the opportunity to contribute across the marketing stack. This could include:• Enhancing Kalepa's core branding and messaging as we continue to grow our product and target market• Building out content, messaging, and campaigns for targeted niches• Assisting with advertising strategy, experimentation, and execution• Producing differentiated content for Kalepa's external channels (LinkedIn, email, YouTube, etc.)• "Other duties as assigned." Kalepa is a fast-moving startup, and we are very responsive to developments in the AI space and with our customers. If we see demand for something - and you have the interests and skills for it - we'll move quickly to take advantage.The ideal candidate will work hybrid from our New York City headquarters or our regional office in Raleigh, NC. Remote candidates will also be considered. This will be a 10 week internship (flexible on this) with a competitive stipend.About You:• You're ready to learn new things. By the end of this internship, you will be better at some things than anyone you go to school with - and anyone at Kalepa. We want someone who is excited to learn quickly and at times independently to Make It Happen.• You enjoy storytelling. You like understanding what is important to people and crafting narratives to address the things that pain them and offer solutions to their problems• You are a top-notch writer, both grammatically and creatively. You can take rough ideas, iterate on the message and story, and produce highly compelling writing• You love technology. You want to pursue a career at a tech company - even if it's not in marketing - and get boots on the ground at a startup that is using AI to make a real impact on an important industry• You get stuff done. You can take a task from beginning to end quickly and with exceptional quality.As a plus• You have digital creative skills (e.g., graphic design, video editing, print layout)• You have previous marketing / internship / startup experience• You have experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Midjourney) to accelerate your workWe do not expect you to have any industry background in insurance - most people we hire do not, but they learn quickly.Details:• The salary for this internship will be 4-5k per month, over 10 weeks• You will need to bring your own laptop/device that is suitable for work• You should be able to work at least 40 hours per week• When submitting your application, please include a cover letter as a writing sample to describe why you are an excellent fit for this particular role.
