Staff Accountant

Karbon is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their Finance/Accounting team. This individual will play a critical role in building key business partnerships and scaling the company.

Skills

3+ years of relevant Accounting experience
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience in the high-tech industry, preferably with SaaS
Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Initiative, sound judgment, and creativity

Responsibilities

Contribute to the month-end close process with journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform daily cash reconciliations and report on cash activity
Process accounts payable vendor invoices and manage vendor onboarding
Identify ways to improve monthly accounting close process
Review credit card statements and employee expense reports
Assist with documentation for audits and tax compliance
Drive business process and financial system improvements
Maintain internal control policies and procedures
Collaborate on ad-hoc projects as needed
