Project Manager, DevOps

Keeper is hiring a skilled and strategic Project Manager, DevOps to to define and drive our backend and DevOps roadmap. This can be a 100% remote position from select locations with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, DevOps at Keeper, your responsibility will be to oversee and manage the execution of the DevOps roadmap, ensuring the seamless delivery of backend API products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient, reliable deployment and continuous improvement of DevOps processes. This includes identifying key requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment between development, operations, and other stakeholders. You will be expected to lead complex projects, troubleshoot issues, and support the team in driving innovation and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring best practices are followed, promoting a culture of continuous improvement to enhance site reliability and product performance across all environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the execution of the DevOps roadmap, ensuring the timely delivery of backend API products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and priorities, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
  • Oversee the coordination of DevOps initiatives, ensuring effective deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production
  • Conduct research and engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify market opportunities and prioritize the roadmap
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships across Keeper to deliver a seamless, best-in-class customer experience
  • Create and maintain high-quality product documentation, project plans, demos, status reports, and sales enablement materials to support communication and knowledge sharing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across all environments, working closely with engineering and operations teams to maintain system stability
  • Continuously measure and evaluate product performance and business impact, communicating insights and progress effectively across the organization

  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in technical product management, with a strong focus on SaaS environments
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) working with developer platforms, tools, workflows, and infrastructure
  • Proven track record of driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and cross-team programs to successful outcomes
  • Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships, influencing decision-making, and collaborating across all organizational levels
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with experience engaging a global audience
  • Strong business acumen, with a sharp eye for analysis and detail-oriented problem-solving
  • Deep passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive business performance and strategic decision-making
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
