Warehouse Operations Leader - Strategic Role with Industry Leader

Are you an experienced professional in warehouse management looking to elevate your career? Our client, a prominent organization in the fresh produce industry, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader for their San Antonio hub. This role provides a unique opportunity within a billion-dollar company, where you’ll spearhead operational effectiveness and lead a motivated team. We’re looking for a leader with a proactive approach and strategic mindset in warehouse operations.

Key Duties:

  • Champion workplace safety protocols, ensuring food safety and security measures are strictly followed
  • Cultivate strong working relationships across all levels of the company
  • Manage receiving, shipping, quality control, and production processes in a fresh produce setting
  • Drive cost control measures and enhance production equipment efficiency
  • Deliver customer orders on time while adhering to quality benchmarks
  • Track and report key metrics to senior leadership
  • Mentor and support staff, addressing workplace challenges constructively
  • Uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in warehouse management, ideally within the fresh produce sector
  • Leadership: Proven success in team building and management
  • Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations best practices
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with RedLine Cooler Software or similar WMS/ERP systems is advantageous
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong capability for data-based decision-making
  • Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive awareness of safety and regulatory standards
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time and task management abilities
  • Competitive annual salary range of $85,000 - $95,000, based on qualifications
