What’s a typical day as an Operations Assistant?
• Support the execution and operation of various manufacturing processes and procedures in an efficient and timely manner
• Ensure production schedules and quality specifications are met, managing operator’s process compliance
• Execute cost reduction programs, productivity improvement, and efficiency initiatives
• Present accurate and timely production data in appropriate format to management
• Assist with the onboarding of new hires, including Kronos badge activation and new hire paperwork
• Track attendance and administer attendance policies
• Administer PPE orders for the safety vending machine
• Administer the monthly Safety and Quality Trainings
• Review time cards and using Excel to manage/enforce attendance points policy
• Lead the Engagement Committee
• Order office supplies

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You
• Have prior operations experience
• Have experience handling time cards and administering attendance using points policy (Kronos software experience preferred)
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Have prior experience managing attendance preferred
• Have a high school diploma/GED
• Job may involve lifting 35-50 lbs. repeatedly, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Walking and moving required throughout shift.
• Kerry Foods is a smoke and tobacco-free facility. Tobacco and smoking is prohibited on-site, including on breaks and in vehicles.
• When on production floor, no jewelry (rings, earrings, nose ring, studs, watch), no false eyelashes, no hair extensions, no false fingernails, no fingernail polish and no chewing gum, food, drinks or cell phone on the floor.
