This analyst position for the Communications Solutions Group (CSG), will report directly to the CSG Vice President of Finance and work on a diverse set of activities. This role requires strong analytical skills coupled with excellent communication with internal partners. The successful candidate will be expert in detailed data analysis and financial modeling, but also be able to summarize business insights in support of CSG management.• Financial Planning and Reporting / Month-End-Close Support - work closely with the CSG finance VP to support month-end close, forecasting and planning processes. Responsible for the financial consolidation of different groups within CSG and analysis/reporting of CSG results. Support business processes and ensure that they comply with financial policies and controls.• Lead financial analysis on research and development projects, including calculating gross margin, net present value, and return on investment. Present results to management.• Process / Capability Improvement Projects - support decision making on investment strategies for products, analysis of key market drivers, business profitability, and resource allocation.• Maintain deal tools that enable high impact go-to-market initiatives.• Provides consulting to businesses on process and operational improvement projects.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, etc.• MBA or equivalent experience preferred• 4-5 years relevant work experience in financial analysis and Planning• Strong quantitative and analytical skills• Ability to analyze large data sets and summarize insights• Strong Excel and Oracle/business intelligence systems expertise• Highly detail-oriented, with experience building financial and decision support models• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
