Material Handler/Operator

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Operator/Material Handler who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to Production Supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

To operate equipment related to grinding and similar functions
To perform operations required to operate hi-lift, power and hand trucks for material and part handling
To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality
To efficiently and safely operate moving equipment and satisfactorily move/bring materials to the proper locations
Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information
Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions
Provide active input to continuous process improvement
Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas and others with a need to know
Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas
Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required
Forklift experience preferred

Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
