Robotics Automation Engineer

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Robotics/Automation Engineer who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location.  This person will report to the Manager of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. 
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities 
- Programming and troubleshooting Fanuc and Epson Robotics systems 
- Provide technical advice / troubleshooting on existing equipment (Presses/Automation/Ovens) 
- Build/Implement robotics projects using vision, palletizing, and pick and place applications 
- Innovate new automation concepts and develop prototypes using shop equipment such as mills/lathes/3D Printing 
 
Qualifications
- Positive attitude that thrives in a team environment. 
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in the field of robotics 
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
- Have experience with the following types of control equipment and software: 
o Fanuc Robotics 
o Epson Robotics 
o PLC’s 
o Vision Systems 
o Servo Systems 
o AutoCad 
- Proficient in using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook 
 
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
