Aligned with leading brewers and foodservice providers, the companies that comprise Reyes Holdings deliver the best-known brands and widest variety of food and beverage items to restaurants and retailers around the world.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:• Execute company strategies in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Management and Talent Engagement.o Talent Acquisition – including, but not limited to:§ Partner with operations to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year§ Develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies§ Maintain AAP and document progress to goals throughout the year§ Ensure OFCCP compliance in all hiring activitieso Talent Development – including, but not limited to:§ Coordinate local training and development programs with support of the Human Resources Director§ Support development plan process to support overall bench strength and personal development of local leadershipo Talent Management§ Ensure consistent and timely deployment of the employee review process§ Partner with Distribution Center leader to support the succession planning processo Talent Engagement§ Lead the communication plan on all changes that impact the employees and assist with answering questions§ Support the employee feedback process and ensure progress is made throughout the year• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws governing employment• Promptly investigate and address ethical issues and employee concerns to the maximum satisfaction of our customer(s)• Participate in, contribute to and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety• Travel to Rosemont, IL for annual meetings or other Distribution Centers as needed• Be a champion of change• Any other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:• College Degree• 5+ years of recent human resources experience• Self-motivated and disciplined team player• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment• Sound organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met• Exhibit a sense of urgency and focus on results while remaining flexible• Professional self-presentation• Proven track record of developing successful customer/business partnerships• Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriately• Experience on leadership teams, influencing decision-makers• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate Excel skills• Ability to effectively navigate and utilize various HRIS programs• Must pass post-offer background check and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:• PHR/SPHR certification a plus• Food distribution experience preferred• Union awareness training and ability to deploy strategies a plus• Experience supporting multi-shift environments (ie distribution or manufacturing) preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:• Occasionally required to lift/carry materials/product weighing up to 50 lbs• Multi-temperature warehouse, including freezers, coolers and dry storage areas and will occasionally require exposure to temperature ranges from 20 degrees to 100 degreesThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
