Community Support Lead: Trust & Safety

Khan Academy is looking for an experienced Trust & Safety leader to drive safety solutions for online educational products and communities.

Skills

  • 4+ years professional trust and safety experience
  • Experience working closely with product teams
  • Expertise with relevant laws and trends in online trust and safety
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve Khanmigo moderation processes
  • Advocate for tool and product needs around community safety
  • Represent user safety point of view in new feature development processes
  • Dive deep into comment moderation tools and ensure strong safety coverage of discussions
  • Audit customer support processes for vulnerabilities and train support team
  • Lead customer support projects and needs outside of main focus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
