Project Manager - Senior Consultant

The Consulting Project Manager will lead and oversee consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction. Acting as the primary client liaison, this role involves building strong, trusted relationships while managing cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. With responsibilities including project planning, risk management, and performance tracking, the Project Manager will apply best-in-class project management practices and adapt to dynamic project demands. This role requires a proactive, organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who can drive value and support business growth through client engagement and project excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end consulting projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and proactive communication, and building trusted advisory relationships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and motivating team members to achieve project goals.
  • Develop project plans, define timelines, manage resource allocation, and monitor project progress using best-in-class project management tools.
  • Identify project risks and devise mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive adjustments to maintain project alignment and minimize disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement within project delivery by integrating best practices in project management, change management, and quality assurance.
  • Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder meetings, and project status reviews, providing clear and actionable updates on project progress.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal development, presentations, and relationship building to identify future opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant certification is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading management consulting and digital transformation projects in the public sector in Saudi Arabia and delivering impactful results.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), with the ability to tailor approaches to meet client needs.
  • Good understanding of PMO models, processes and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and work in a fast-paced environment.
