Experienced Civil EIT - Roadway - job 1 of 2

As an Experienced Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at Kimley-Horn, you will be involved in a variety of civil engineering tasks that support various project managers. Your responsibilities will include performing horizontal and vertical alignments, grading and drainage design, and contributing to streetscape and roadway improvements. Additionally, you will engage in multimodal design projects, which incorporate multi-use trails and complete streets, along with producing signage, striping, and signalization plans.

To be eligible for the Experienced Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) position at Kimley-Horn, you need at least 2 years of experience with a civil engineering design firm and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering. Additionally, you should possess an 'Engineer-In-Training' or 'Engineering Intern' certification or have the ability to obtain it within 12 months. Proficiency in software such as MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D is also a requirement.
