About the Role

We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead our regulatory compliance efforts. The ideal candidate has experience in domestic and international cosmetics regulations (US FDA, Prop 65, EU, etc.) and is looking to take on the challenge of building out an effective and compliant regulatory infrastructure of their own. This is a high visibility role, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff and interfacing with many departments.

You will

• Maintain and organize all necessary regulatory documentation for compliance (SDS, Toxicological Reports, Certifications, etc) 
• Work closely with our Product, QA and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliance throughout the production lifecycle
• Effectively interpret and communicate relevant regulations and regulatory challenges to the executive team
• Monitor and communicate changes to the global cosmetics regulatory landscape 
• Support the Brand and Creative teams with labeling, claims, etc.
• Oversee and maintain registrations with appropriate regulatory bodies
• Liaison with R&D, Product and Supply Chain to understand the role various ingredients serve in the product formulation process and identify opportunities for innovation
• Evaluate the current regulatory processes, procedures and systems to recommend and implement improvements

You have

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Over 3 years of experience with Regulatory Affairs
• A deep understanding of key global cosmetics regulations
• Familiarity with regulatory procedures and software to facilitate compliance
• The intellectual curiosity to understand the evolving cosmetics regulatory landscape and how it affects our core business
• The ability to communicate technical regulatory material in an understandable way, identifying any areas of nuance
• Preferred experience with nail polish
• Preferred experience with GMP, ISO 
• Experience with Good Face Project

• This role is remote and may require occasional travel
