Summary:Represents the company’s products and services to a select group of target Automotive Tier 1 end-user customers. Responsible for development and management of assigned key accounts and generating year-over-year growth in sales, market share, and profitability. Collaborates with other market segments such as General Industry and Automotive when needed to achieve sales.This is a remote role however we do have preference for those located in: North Carolina, South Carolina, Detroit, Ohio, Tennessee or Kentucky.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Develops strategic and overall account plans to increase sales and gain additional market share at key accounts by identifying new projects and sales opportunities.• Achieves sales of robots, solutions, robot-related options (hardware/software/ mechanical components) and related services (training, engineering support, on-site support, etc.) with end-users and supporting system partners and drive execution.• Develops a close knowledge base and relationship with key System Partners and Line Builders within the defined Key Accounts.• Provides and documents product and market feedback to management on KUKA products and strategies based on the voice of the customer.• Develops and presents Key Account Strategy presentations at KUKA Robotics sales and System Partner meetings, as required.• Represents KUKA Robotics professionally as part of the global operating holding company KUKA AG in order to improve and grow our business in North America.• Identifies potential Key Accounts: customers / plant locations and automation investment programs.• Effectively presents company products/services/structure to new and existing customers.• Provides and completes monthly product / sales forecast to recommend and achieve optimal balance between on-time delivery and inventory management.• Monitors the competition’s products and services and notifies management of benchmarks (prices, technical advantages, technical problems, organization, etc.).• Cooperates with all internal departments in order to achieve overall targets.• Travels as needed to customer sites in North America as well as to KUKA headquarters in Augsburg/Germany.• Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continual improvements.• Understands and follows safety regulations and identifies safety concerns.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and understanding of robotic processes used by general industry and Tier 1 & 2 automotive companies.EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and five years of related robot sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred: strong relationship with customer contacts: engineering, purchasing, power train and stamping departments, supplier base and its integrators.KUKA is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
