Senior UI/UX Engineer

Kunai, a fast-growing digital consultancy focused on banking, payments, and fintech, is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer to work on internal platform development using cutting-edge frameworks. The ideal candidate will simplify complex business and software workflows into user-friendly experiences, collaborate with various teams, and drive end-to-end product design.

Skills

At least 5 years of experience in UI design
Experience with software or mobile applications design
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
Experience with responsive web layouts
Comfortable working with a variety of business partners
Proficiency in design tools like Sketch and/or Figma
Experience with established design systems

Responsibilities

Simplify and translate complex business and software development workflows into easy-to-use experiences
Collaborate with partners to create new interface and interaction patterns
Create consistent visual conventions across the application
Gather and incorporate user feedback and feature requests into the interface
Identify and establish design needs, requirements, and acceptance criteria
Champion prioritization of design-centered product enhancements
Create style guides, iconography, and infographics for team use
Drive end-to-end product design
