Position Summary:• The recruiter is responsible for supporting statewide recruiting efforts through job announcements, college relations and recruiting analysis and reporting.Location:• Olathe, KSSchedule:• The position will be onsite for at least 2 years w/no hybrid or remote option. Hours are 8-430 or 8-5 M-FEducation:• Associate's degree preferredExperience:• Strong customer service focus, excellent time management and communication skills• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer skillsCertification/Licensure:• Valid Driver’s License• Valid Auto Insurance• At least 21 years oldPreferred Experience/Skills:• One to two years of relevant work experience in human resources or related fieldsJob Duties/Responsibilities:• Posts openings for positions using established recruiting resources which may include job boards, social media and professional associations• Coordinates and tracks college recruiting initiatives, internships, and practicums• Maintains records on recruiting resources• Seeks and attends a minimum of two career and job fairs per quarter• Assist with Talent Acquisition Recruiter II in researching and recommend new sources for recruiting such as industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and job boards• Screens applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements• Maintains all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System• Works with program staff deriving needs and prioritizing critical open positions• Performs other duties as assigned for the betterment of KVCBehavioral Expectations:• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all interactions.• Communicate effectively and respectfully with all stakeholders.• Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.• Display flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities and circumstances.• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.• Other duties as assigned based on qualification to include activities for the betterment of the agency and all individuals served.Join us:• We’re an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
