The Data Entry Analyst is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for accurately and efficiently managing a vast amount of data. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a knack for handling large datasets with precision. This role involves data entry, validation, and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and contributing to the smooth operation of our data management systems. This is a temp role for a duration of three months.
Responsibilities- Data Entry and Validation: Accurately input data into our database systems from various sources. Conduct regular validation checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Data Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain data records, ensuring they are current and accurate.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance procedures to identify and correct data inconsistencies or errors.
- Report Generation: Assist in generating reports based on the data entered, ensuring they are accurate and meet the needs of the department.
- Compliance and Confidentiality: Adhere to data privacy and protection regulations. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all data handled.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure data requirements are met and to address any data-related issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek and propose improvements to data entry and management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in data management, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry software and database systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify data discrepancies and address them promptly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Experience with PowerBI, JMP, other statistical data software
- Prior experience in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Working Conditions: Office environment; Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
