Job Summary
The student will assist in ongoing NSF-funded research projects in Dr. Wisecaver's lab in the Biochemistry department. Students will be trained and expected to assist with routine tasks related to this research, including preparing and autoclaving media, preparing and autoclaving soil, potting plants, watering plants, transferring algal cultures, and cleaning glassware.

The student will be expected to observe and listen to directions given by their mentor. The student will be expected to ask questions and update their mentor on work performed.
The student will need to evaluate and analyze the results of their work and be involved in making decisions when things don’t go as planned.
The student will interact closely with a mentor as well as with other students and postdocs in lab.
The student will learn how to efficiently multitask and manage daily tasks while continuously learning about the research they are involved in.
