We are seeking Laborers to work with our construction team in Onamia, MN.

As a Laborer, you will contribute to our team by:

• Help carpenters, operators, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Site cleanup
• Load or unload construction materials
• Assist with installing formwork and pouring concrete
• Demolition
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Maintain safe work areas and identify hazards associated with task assignments
• Other duties as required

The duties and responsibilities listed here represent the minimum requirements for this position.

What you will bring to the role:

• 18 years of age or older
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to measure accurately
• Physically able to perform trade work and able to navigate through a construction jobsite
• Reliable transportation
• High regard for safety and pride of workmanship
• Knowledge and use of hand and power tools
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks, asks questions as needed
• Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment and flexibility to work extra hours
• Able to effectively and appropriately communicate
• Pass a pre-employment drug test

Positions are expected to start in September 2023. PCL is signatory to Laborers Local #563 and this position requires union membership/sponsorship.
