The Content Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Content team (Content Marketing Manager and Content Marketing Director) in creating high-impact content that drives SEO, social media, and sales enablement. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual with creative thinking and writing skills. We are excited to offer a current full-time or part-time student an unpaid, for-credit... opportunity to develop their written marketing skills with a mission-driven organization, for the fall semester of 2024.
Responsibilities
• Create and publish engaging content that drives traffic, engagement, and leads aligned with marketing campaigns and general demand-generation efforts in support of Labster’s sales and customer retention goals
• Develop impactful content in the form of:
• Blogs and articles
• Whitepapers and eBooks
• Infographics, polls, and surveys
• Social media posts
• Newsletters
• Edit and improve existing posts, optimizing for SEO
• Optimize content for SEO using MarketMuse, an AI SEO tool
• Contribute to the maintenance of the content calendars
• Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s
attention
• Test and analyze results to measure the effectiveness of our efforts, with an emphasis on continuous optimization and iteration across all forms of content
Candidate profile
• You are in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program for marketing, communications, or English
• You have experience writing and editing content
• You are self-directed with strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
• You are determined, optimistic, and resilient, and do not shy away from a challenge
• You are tech-savvy and understand the value and usage of a good tool
• You live in the Boston area and are willing to come into the Somerville office once a week. Other days, you can work from home
