Job Summary:

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is the ultimate night out, with its groundbreaking integration of premiere music, 19 lanes of bowling, bars featuring locally crafted beers, and food by the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant group. Located in Germantown, adjacent to First Horizon Park, home of the Nashville Sounds baseball team, the venue is Brooklyn Bowl’s third location.

The Role:

Lane Technician must exhibit excellent guest service while ensuring maintenance of the lanes, pinsetters, pins, bowling balls, ball returns, and all other related mechanical systems are operating at the highest level of efficiency. No previous experience is required. We provide full training to help you develop valuable skills for the job.  New hires will have a minimum of 3 days for training. Once training is complete, you'll be ready to Rock. And Roll. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all bowling-related equipment
• Maintain and clean physical bowling lanes as well as preventative maintenance
• Maintain stock and requisition supplies for bowling equipment
• Inventory bowling-related supplies (i.e. balls, spare pins, cleaning supplies) on a scheduled basis
• Maintain computer system(s) administration for bowling
• Maintain a safe and functional bowling experience
• Maintain great relationship with guest
• Keep detailed records of parts, costs, and mechanical performance
• Assist with miscellaneous projects as directed
• Assist management in initiating smooth and efficient operations
• Work together as part of a team to provide the best overall guest experience
• Assist guest with entering names and making scoring changes

Required:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work later hours
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work closely and efficiently with others
• Performing reaching and stooping motions repeatedly
• Move throughout venue areas during the entire shift
• Work in an environment with loud music, smoke and crowds for extended periods of time
• Stand or in a stationary position for entire shift
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

Preferred:

• Experience in a live music environment
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, bar or entertainment venue preferred
• Positive, friendly attitude

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
