Laser Setup Operator

Laser Setup Operator - 2nd shift, $19.81 + $0.60 shift differential/hr

A local St. Louis company is looking for a Laser Setup operator for their 2nd shift. The operator will be trained on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.

What we''re looking for:

• Ability to read blueprints or job orders for product specifications; such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions for fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds and depth cuts
• Observe operation of machine to detect misalignment or malfunction of machined piece to specification and continue with operation.
• Load program, adjust setting for cut conditions, load material using crane or forklift, unload parts or material
• Maintain quality parts using various quality checks
• Daily maintenance and checks of machine and gases
• Maintain safety requirements and standards throughout all practices.
• Experience with Trumpf 5-axis and Amada Laser machines is a plus.
