The Phoenix Police Department is offering a $7,500 hiring bonus to new Police Officer/ Peace Officers. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as follows: on your check after swearing in as a Phoenix Police Officer and on your check following successful completion of probation. In addition, if you are referred to apply by a current city employee, that city employee may receive a bonus of $2,500 when you have successfully been hired and passed probation. The name of the referring city employee and employee ID must be specified on the job application at time of submission in order for the payments to be awarded. $35.75 (minimum) - $51.84 (maximum) hourly / $74,360 - $107, 827 annually. Candidates may be hired above the minimum depending upon qualifications.
