Account Manager - job 1 of 2

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring their needs are met with excellence, and bringing in new candidates. This role requires a combination of strong client management skills and technical knowledge of AV systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of managing and growing client relationships.


Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of audio visual projects. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and creative staff, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of audio visual technology to provide clients with expert advice and support. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to offer innovative solutions.
  • Sales and Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services and products. Work to expand client accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining a high level of service quality.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on account status, project progress, and performance metrics. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and project details.


Requirements
  • Prior experience in IT/tech account management or sales; AV account management or sales experience preferred.
  • Understanding of audio visual systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and software.
  • Experience bringing in new clients and managing their accounts.
  • Prior B2B sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Audio Visual Technology, or a related field preferred.
